Los Al Friday
A good early pick-4 sequence kicks off the weekend of racing tonight at Los Al. I think the early pick-4 is going pay very well tonight. There is a few races with some very competitive field which should lead to some good betting opportunities.
Selections:
Race 1: 9-2-5
#9 Papa's Lil Willow: I bet this horse last time in her debut when I thought she was well meant but lost all chance at the start when getting away to a very slow start. She managed to still beat two horse home and I think she got some good education. She is a strong play for me tonight.
Race 2: 4-6-3
#4 One Lucky Lady: Was claimed by a barn that does very well with their limited starters. She's got some speed and add the blinkers while getting a hustling rider.
Race 3: 8-3-4
#8 Tricky Liz: Has been facing some tougher groups and this mare has more early speed than the last two races indicate. I like the outside post. She should be able to get the lead and cross over or track the pace setters around the turn.
Race 4: 1-5-6
#1 Duke Mission: I have been betting this gelding pretty much since his first race. I liked his sire and I loved his dam. The bad thing is that he seem to always get into a troubled trip but I like that he gets the rail and if he breaks cleanly then he will be able to hug the rail and run straight.
Race 5: 1-9-8
#1 Sofooseticated: Ran a very good second two start ago at this same distance and this same level. I love jockey Rodrigo Aceves when he gets a live mount on the rail post position, he tends to get them out the gate fast and straight.
Race 6: 3-5-4
#3 Tlm Streakaboo is lightly raced and has more room for improvement. I liked her debut win three starts ago and has been facing tougher field in the last two starts. I like the first-time Cesar De Alba angle.
Race 7: 5-7-2
#5 Miss Loujean Tb: This filly has been faced a much tougher field at Santa Anita where the got the lead and battled through while holding on four fourth. She looks to be in a great spot to win.
Race 8: 3-4-6
#3 Roll Tide: Is only making his second start as a 3-year-old and his second start for this new barn. He qualified for the Ed Burke Million Futurity last year so he's got some class to him.
